low estrogen causing uti's continually

I have low estrogen causing uti's continually. My problem is that the local vaginal estrogens (3 different kinds so far) cause unbearable side affects. I feel I'm allergic or sensitive to the other chemical ingredients. I'm very sensitive to drugs. What on earth can I do. Down there needs estrogen to support everything...vagina, bum, tissues etc. Right now I'm sore, irritated, dry, inflamed, have pain, irritation..almost anything that can go wrong in my vaginal area. I am trying to eat soy foods which I never did before..hope it helps. Also using a vaginal moisturizer.

Had a hysterectomy 12 yrs ago..not overweight, don't smoke or drink, eat very good..mostly veggies & fruit.

I had uti's for 2 yrs then sepsis from them..it's been a horrific nightmare. I am now using vaginal estrogen cream from my gyno & an estrogen patch from my endocrinologist. It's getting better with raising my estrogen. I start a higher dose patch tomorrow. I am 69. How old are you? Estrogen protects women from a multitude of infections, not just uti's.
