Hi guys, I’m new to the group and looking for a bit of help, over the last month I have noticed my anxiety levels go through the roof and trust me, I’m not normally an anxious person at all, plus I’m suffering with night sweats (I’m 49)
I’m guessing I’m starting with the menopause but wondered if this real anxiety and weepiness is connected too as this is so unlike me. I really want to tell myself to get a grip but I can’t

I know exactly what you are going through. I am 53 years old and Last Friday I was feeling this way. I am not usually this type of person either. I am usually positive and upbeat. Friday I was just feeling so blah and edgy. While at work I got really hot and took off my jacket at least 3 times. Have you gone to a medical doctor? Have you had any work up on your hormones? I know finally I just had to shut the phone off and shut everyone out Friday night and just breath and sit alone and try to relax. I meditated and listened to music I enjoyed. Sometimes we just have to slow down or stop and just reboot ourselves. I can pass along something for you to read on menopause if you would like, I can message it to you, just let me know, I hope this gets better. I hope you get some resolve soon. I am thinking of you.
