Hi my name is Xalanda, I have a 20 months old beautiful baby girl and I had her thru a c-section. Now she wants a sibling. My husband and I have decided to go for a second child and we have been trying to get pregnant for the past almost four months and no luck. This last time I was so sure that we will get pregnant as we did everything right by the book to catching my fertility window, ovulation time and before and after that but no results. I am not sure whether it had anything to do with my c-section or does it actually take that long to get pregnant after a 20 months baby break thru contraceptives. We use condoms not tablets. Any help?

Wish I had some ideas but hopefully others will. Part of this is patience and faith, part is physical health. For now, enjoy your beautiful daughter and treasure her. It’s wonderful for her to have every bit of your attention and love. When a child has that, she doesn’t need a sibling, she has everything she needs. How lucky is she to have two dedicated parents who adore her!
Four months is no time, can easily take many months or longer.
hi. my advice to you is to not panic. Trust me some couples have tried much longer. You guys might want to stop having sex for a week or 5 days before your most "fertile" days, to help your husband build up sperm. No ejaculation or anything during this period. Apart from that, I would recommend you take a look into vitamins and supplements that can help. Preferably natural products. These will not have any unwanted side effects or cause any harm.
