Has anyone else got a retroverted uterus

Hello

Today my doctor informed me 1 in 10 pepole have like me retroverted uterus .

It might explain my back pain and pain when using tampons .

Does anyone else like me have the back pain with it and does it stop you in regards to having children?

Yes I have, not caused any problems for me, had 3 children.

Hi, yes, I have it too and yes, I get back pain especially before and during periods. Tampons are ok but smears hurt, probably because nurses aren't aware of it, not sure.

I didn't know I had it when I had my son but it was a very straight forward 4 hour labour so don't worry.

2 weeks before he was born they told me he was back to back which would complicate things and might require forceps so I spent those 2 weeks worried sick but again, everything was fine.

My Dr recently said that having the introvert uterus is like being left handed.
