Yeast infection won’t go away.

I have the bad luck of being prone to yeast infections, they are horrible! I’ve tried few things to stop form going to the doctor and taking diflucan to also using tercanozole which gave me few side effects, is there any other thing I could do? Currently I’m not able to take probiotics because I have to wait till I get to do a stomach test, it would be such a great help if you guys have any suggestion or tip! thanks!

Are you allowed yogurt? That’s always helped me

Yeah, but what type? Cause from what I read on the internet it says it’s supposed to be pure meaning without sugar but I can’t seem to find one no where!

Sugar can definitely make a yeast infection worse. Anything with lactobacillus or active cultures that can help balance back out your candida. Also, my mother has always told me stay away from bread! Try yogurt and clean eating for a little while. Cotton undies you day, and let everything breathe at night. Stay away from tight pants or tight fabrics. Personally I take acidophilus every day and it keeps everything healthy but I know you said you can’t take that. Some time you need a few diflucan to get the job done.

I didn’t believe it myself, but diet and clothing really DO have a huge affect. Good luck!

I had the same problem, i was eventually prescribed a 6 month dose of flucanazole, i think i took something like 1 a day for first week, 2 a week and then 1 a week (or something along those lines but can’t fully remember) it did really help me and although i still do get it very occasionally it’s certainly not as often/continuous like it was and it also isn’t as bad!
