My clitoris went numb? I'm only 17!

Hi, I'm 17 and noticed a couple days ago that the top part of my clitoris is slightly numb. It doesn't feel the same as it did maybe 5 days ago - it's a drastic difference. It used to be very sensitive but now it feels almost numb and I have to simulate myself lower on my clitoris to reach orgasm. Why have I lost sensitivity and how could I get it back? I am taking a break from sexual activity but I'm really nervous.. I don't use vibrators so it cannot be nerve damage from that. Please help? :(

Hi, I'm wondering if your problem might be hormone related rather than nerve damage? I don't think it would hurt to speak with Dr if you are worried but perhaps someone on the network has experienced this and could advise . Take care X

Is it usually covered under a hood? If not perhaps it was friction between your clothing making it less sensitive?
