I had sex about a week ago, first 30 seconds or so was unprotected then my partner put on a condom. This was our first time having sex with each other. Two days ago i felt a burning pain coming from my vagina and now its red and itchy. It hurts when I sit and when I walk. Could this be thrush or something else?

I went to the doctors and he said it looks like thrush, he prescribed canesten combo and it feels slightly better. I will ask my about UTI. Thank you for ur help.
