Hi, I need some advice on a contracptive I was thinking about going on the implants, can anyone suggest a good contracptive I can go on, I would like to be on it long term, any suggestions will be good thanks, I am 40Years old

I've found the best thing that works for me is the coil, but it depends on whether you like the idea or not!

A coil would be a good option for you. As it is long term but reversible. Depends if you like the idea.

Implant also good. Or the progestogen only pill.

Are you wanting to avoid combined with oestrogen?
