I've had this happen for months if not years. 2-4 days before period is due if I have a bowel movement I get spotting (tmi I know, just on the toilet paper). I've never over thought it until now as I'm getting such terrible pms this last 6 months or so.

You should go to the doctor or nurse and discuss this problem. I had one bit of spotting three years after my period's stopped. I was referred by the local G. P. to the gynaecologist and he found that there were no problems. I apologised for wasting his time. The gynaecologist said never hesitate in getting spotting checked out. Hope your doctor is as good.
