Wow you have to try myfitnesspal it is amazing. It works out your calories from your info and then you can search for food ie egg and it puts all combinations tells you fat, protein etc content and lots of little helpful pointers. Keeps fav foods to quicken tracking, that's a key tool they use with weight watchers and I know from my own and others experiences that when you track (eat mindful as usa Brian wansink phd v clever book) it really helps and motivates, also has friends link on there I'm giblues as someone else had Aussie, ps the Aussie bit is cos my names Sheila, and blue as family members and friends moved to Perth 6 yrs ago hey but visited twice, too expensive now though. So give it a go and bet you'll find it easy and it helps. Plus it's free
I use myfitnesspal as well. If you have a smart phone or tablet you can download a handy app then you have it always with you. Great tool.
Hi
I did start off with Food Focus UK because I just wanted a no nonsense, no fuss calorie counter but I've been using My Fitness Pal for the past week as it's got so much more. It is American based (San Francisco based, I think, but loads of users from the UK too) but once I got my head around some of the US v UK discrepancies I've actually stopped using Food Focus and just use My Fitness Pal.
Use whatever you find the easiest & what works for you because at the end of the day it's your journey
