Many people on here use Myfitnesspal or nutracheck.co.uk

hope that helps :)

I have done a spreadsheet of the most common foods that I eat and it took a while to set up but it was worth it - I went through all the foods in my cupboards and freezer and put the calorie amount for per certain weight or piece in and it's so easy now - think I spent a good day on it though :)

Good work 👍🏻 I like logging in MFP because it gives important macros e.g. 60% carbs 25% protein 15% fats.

Smithb - try MyFitnessPal is good for logging calories and you can scan 95% of barcodes and it goes straight in the app.

The calories recommended on the NHS BMI calculator, just update the ones in MyFitnessPal to reflect this amount.

Click on "more" bottom right then "goals" and under the heading nutrition goals click "calorie and macronutrient goals" you can edit the amount there 👍

The NHS BMI calculator includes your exercise level and as far as I am aware- from reading other posts about this issue- myfitnesspal doesn't include so I think it expects you to work out how many calories you have burnt off through exercise and add that to your daily allowance
