I started at 153 kg but just weighed 21st December 2024 and I'm 139kg and pleased with this, I've been down gym 3 time's in 5 day's and watching my carbs I eat, it's the lowest I've been for a few year's, finally the smart scales are heading in the right direction. Last weeks weight was 143kg so total loss 14kg, Thanks to advice from weight loss support for nutrition advice as its helped me understand what foods are good and bad etc 😉

Thanks, by coming on this forum it as helped my Nutrion in being educated to which it was an eye opener where the sugars and saturated fat were in certain foods that I didn't know at the time, Health Unlocked as been a big help, as I used to excerice and lose weight, but with lymphodema in 2017 and age exercise alone wasn't losing me the weight anymore, so for the last last 5 year's roughly I've been looking at labels on food.

Yes same here. Not sure if you are in UK but I also use the NHS Weight Loss App too which is a great help for myself. Before my heart attack in Jan this year I was having trouble with oedema in one leg and both my ankles but with all these new meds my oedema has gone and I don't need the water tablets anymore. Weird. Your getting there anyway, all the Very Best for the future.

Yes I live in South Wales UK, I'm glad you've got through odeama and not taking medication anymore, I'm pleased for you👍 Sorry to read you had an heart attack but it's great you've come out the other side, I've got water tablets 2 every morning first thing, I've got lymphoedema for life that I self manage with creams, elasticated white bandaging of both leg's below the knee, with daily use of compression stockings to wear for life and legs discoloured but not swollen for a while, well not that bad, but I have leaking of fluid that I treat myself with antiseptic cream until small area drys up. Are you in the UK? Overall I look after myself as I thought lymphoedema had gone away a few year's ago only for it to return with vengeance because I weren't using cream, or bandage and Compression Stockings, but I'm on top of it now, just try and lose weight, but in the new year I'll be trying Mounjaro weight loss pens start with 2.5mg for 1 month if no side effect go upwards to 5mg increasing by 2.5mg every month to a maximum of 15mg if all ok? Even my gym instructor friend gave me advice for to try weight loss injections. Thanks for your kind words, I'll get there at some point, and wishing you all the best in the future 👌

Morning, Oh it is what it is Garden4me I'm self managing with Urea cream bandage and Compression Stockings so it's like a routine, it don't stop me from exercising or doing daily chores and leisure in life, the first 3 year's was a difficult transition, but I'm used to it now, our countries Scotland and Wales similar with mountains and landscape. Yes this is is a good site for advice and message other's, anyway I wish you all the best for 2025 and good health 👍
