Really quick I have been over 200lb since probably the 7th grade. I am 5'9 female, going to be 50 in 6 months. Lost and gained the same 50 lbs multiple times over the last 30 yrs. I started my journey this time a yr ago Sept 23rd. I am down that same 50lbs. Looking to lose 35 more over the next 6 months. Doing it right this time , healthy eating and exercising and doing weight training this time. It is taking longer than normal, I suppose being almost 50 and not starving myself for lack of better words is slowing it down. But when I lose it fast I put it all back on. I guess my main goal is to strengthen my knee (had surgery 8/5/ ) and to be healthier at 50 than I was at 20 . No one in my circle is on the same journey and I feel like a pest talking thier ears off about it. But need a place I can share achievements and setbacks...so here I am 😁

You've done a great job, losing that 50lbs, and there's no reason you shouldn't carry on losing. We've found that active participation is the key to success so I hope we'll see you out and about, around the forum
