Hi everyone!

I hope you remember me from 7/8 years ago - I was LotstoLose at first, then I became LesstoLose. I managed to lose over 8 stone by the end of 2016 (I think). Thanks to my lovely local gym, I managed to keep it off, but since a major life change, nearly 2 stone has snuck back on. Bah.

I need to buck my ideas up and nip it in the bud, I am now in my 60s and the older you get, the harder extra weight is on the body.

Oh, I don't look like that picture in my profile, I will have to change it!

xx

Hello and welcome back, LessToLose :)

That was a great weight loss, and you've managed to keep most of it off. Now you just need to put a plan in place so you're heading downward again, to where you want to be.

You'll find everything you need by following this link healthunlocked.com/weight-l... Have a look through everything so you know what's on offer. The weigh in, daily diary and Fit is Fun posts are a good starting point. Active participation is the key so I hope we'll see you joining in around the forum.

Onwards and downwards :)

Thanks very much BridgeGirl, yeah it was an epic weight loss and I am a bit ashamed with myself for letting it slide, but I know I can do it. I will certainly join in on the posts, thank you!

Life plays tricks on us and I'm sure you can turn the tide :)

Our paths never crossed as I probably joined as you left, and then I didn't use it. I am now! Good luck! Try not to be hard on yourself for letting things slide. We all do it. Plus you didn't regain it all, just a small portion, which is actually amazing!

Thanks Slimgym, yeah, it goes on so easily, comes off so slowly!

I know right! I lost 3 stone over 2.5 to 3 years. Really slow and steady. Second lockdown I wanted to eat all the cakes and biscuits and put most of it back on in 3 months! I'm a stone down in 10 weeks this time. Need to keep going in that direction :)

Well done, that is a good, healthy rate of loss, but yes, lockdown played quite a number on all of us. Keep going, you will get there!

i think you will find that there are quite a few of us returners on here… life gets in the way, and the weight goes up to a point where we don’t want to go back to… and that’s why we are back here in this supportive place

Thanks Katy, yes, life certainly does get in the way, take the eye off the ball for a minute and the weight just sneaks back on!
