I have a number of health problems. I have high blood pressure, liver problems, insomnia and osteoarthritis . I cannot walk more than a few yards (using walking sticks) as both my knees have no cartlidge. I try to keep off painkillers as much as I can, as it affects my liver. My weight is just going up and up due to the lack of mobility. I have an exercise bike that I use on a low setting. I am ok during the day with food, but it is evening time I struggle. Any ideas for a no fuss supper which is low in fat etc would be most appreciated.

Hello and welcome to our friendly and supportive forum. There are several members here who have lost weight without exercise due to mobility issues. I'm sure some will be along soon with some advice. Any exercise you can do is great.
While exercise helps it is not so important when losing weight. More important is to review what you are eating. Cutting out junk food and snacking are good ways to start.
Here is a link yo help you find your way aroundhealthunlocked.com/weight-l... . Do have a good look around and read all the links.
You might like to start by posting your start weight on the Weigh In. The Daily Diary is a good place for meal ideas and posting your meal plans. There are lots of clubs and challenges which you are welcome to join.
It all depends what you like, I usually have cereal at night if really hungry or some popcorn. Not really what you would call food but takes away the hunger.
When I get the munchies in the evening I eat one of those bags of salad you can get washed and ready to eat out of the bag. They take quite a long time to chew through, especially if your teeth are a bit dodgy!
Welcome back Stalk and thanks for your support. That's a great tip for coping with the munchies. You don't mention if you're still on a weight loss journey or are quite happy to maintain. As somethings have changed since you were last here, this is the link to the pinned posts where you'll be able to find everything including the weekly weigh in, Fit is Fun and our Maintainers Club.
Hey there. I am happy to be one of your weight-loss buddies here
I have mobility and balance issues and struggle to move around indoors. I have heart failure, type two Diabetes a brain injury from a cardiac arrest and time spent in a coma in 2016.
I invested in a standing frame that is foldable and doesn't have wheels. I am experimenting with standing while doing the leg and hip movements and so on. It's hard going still, but with a bit of my favourite songs via Alexa, it is getting a little easier to exercise indoors.
I have restarted and lost 10lbs in January...most due to a silly week where I was unwell and didn't eat so I wouldn't recommend that method lol

hello!i was thinking about this and i came to the idea that it will be god if you will eat healthy snacks like vegetables with hummus or other things at night when you want. And also think about your mental health, try to be more posetive in this situation.
I know you asked for low fat snacks but i would think on an evening you might be better with something that is going to sustain you through the night. Low fat food has been shown to encourage furthur eating as it leaves you unsatisfied and it can often contain refined sugar etc leading to sugar spikes and come downs. How about eating an apple with some nut spread or some cheese and grapes.
