I feel like I'm really making some progress. I am down 3.4 lbs but even more important, I feel really good, positive and productive. In about an hour, I am off to my Monday exercise class then plan to go for a nice walk later today. This past week, I logged over 71,000 steps reaching my 10,000 step per day goal almost every day. So much of how I eat - me having control over the food vs the food controlling me - ties into so many aspects of my life. It's interesting how much my feelings about myself are tied into my eating. I have always said about me - I don't know how to eat normal; I am either being mindful (really putting effort into thinking about foods) or I'm overeating - there is no in between. I haven't been perfect in this past week but I have been mindful and I have been making the decisions rather than my cravings. I try to take it a day at a time. Here's to a good week!
