After more than twenty years of struggling with my weight and never actually getting down to my goal (though getting close twice) I have actually got there this morning - YAY YAY YAY!
I have just lost 28lbs over 11weeks with the amazing help and support of a specialist counselling service who guided me all the way through.
Not only have I lost the weight but crucially I have got my head around much of my, what I now realise was, ‘disordered eating patterns’. I cannot tell you how happy I am.
I have actually got there!!
I bought my first size 12 trousers in years and years yesterday and they look great!!
Anyway, I wanted to share this news because it has been a very long time in coming.
I would highly recommend the company I worked with who were fantastic all the way through, but not sure if I can post their name here - can an administrator advise here - just in case people want to know.
Otherwise, please message me directly if you want this contact. I would strongly recommend them to folk.
Much love and luck to you all x

Thank you so much Kickupbum! I felt like I needed a lot of help and support but hey! I got there in the end and I am feeling very very proud of myself.
Best wishes to you and again thank you for taking the time to reply xx
Thank you very much Moreorless, I have already done a run this morning and am swimming this afternoon - being slimmer is a great motivator to be active
Thank you Sue - honestly I know it’s a cliche as old as the hills but I do feel if I can do it anyone can - I struggled for a very long time and now looking at 60 years - I finally get there 🤦♀️…should have done this 25 years ago!!

Good luck Towanda60 and best wishes for your weight loss journey however way you make it x
Brilliant . It is what works for you but to hear happy stories = great . Not sure for me the rapid weight loss would suit . I have to tone as at 63 years old I would be scared of the flabby skin shedding so quickly and keeping it off but reading how motivated and positive you are shows your sheer determination .
I completely understand where you are coming from, we all lose weight our own way in reality. For me, the being accountable to someone week-in-week-out worked - I appreciated the regular support and encouragement too, but many don’t need this and make good progress on their own. Whatever works for you - good luck with it all.
