I am so shocked by what I saw on the scales last night- Monday- that I was scared to believe it lol! I lost 4lbs bringing my overall weight loss in exactly 3 months- to the day- to 2 stones 2lbs!!!
If you would have told me that I would have achieved this much in 12 weeks or so I would never have believed it.
I may have to put some of the weight loss down to a sickness bug on Saturday nightI know but it feels good either way ππ
In other good news; kids back to school which means back to my walking routines and got the primary school we chose for our youngest- happy days!!
Take care and good luck with all you do!!

That's fantastic ππ»πͺπΌ and exactly what I want/ need to achieve , I'd be really interested to hear any advice & tips you can share , my trouble being impatient and losing interest when I don't see any movement on the scales π€Once again great achievement and well done !!
I must admit I too get disheartened by no weight loss on the scales but for me to stay on track I need to physically go to a group setting (Slimming world- I find this plan so easy) - hate being weighted so it keeps me in check, like to meet new people and needed to get out of the house but also needed this site to have on hand for any worries, advice or someone who understands what you are going through.
I decided this year was a year for me to take care of myself- in several ways, I focused on my diet and have now become more confident about appearance, self esteem and ability to add in more exercise - looking for ways that I can add another walk in to my day.
Not sure if this helps you but I wish you all the best x
I think that's what I need to do is exactly that .."focus" I tend to be really good ( food wise) all week and always get my exercise in but then the weekend happens and then all the hard work comes undone and I am so easily led π³ Just end up getting all depressed and ready to start again Monday morning it's a vicious circle π£ Any way thank you for your advice I'm going to try extra hard this weekend ππΌ
It can be tricky, a friend- who I met through sw- said Monday evening weigh in was the worst as she felt she needed more time to get over the weekend lol. I totally understand!!! but I am so aware of the weigh in that I watch more closely at the weekend!
Carbs are my worst enemy- can only eat once a day , lunch or dinner.
Also only eat when hungry not because the clock says so- understand this is hard for some eg work or health reasons.
Portion control- side plates for our meals, I have done this for a little while now.
Ditto here.... have ditched the carbs, processed sugary foods, concentrate on more fats which in turn leave me feeling fuller for longer. Yes, usually only two meals a day and when I am hungry.... might be breakfast and dinner, or brunch and dinner.
I too exercise portion control, but just by weighing and logging everything.... boring and tedious but very necessary when one is a little shortie! I'm only 4ft 9" π
