Hello everyone and welcome to this week's chat, it's been a while since my last hosting session and I have had a long think about this weeks topic and what it should be and thought it would be really nice to get back to basics and consider three things you are grateful for 😊
I'll start us off 😀
Firstly, I am forevergrateful to this forum for the immense support and encouragement in the last couple of weeks. My mojo had all but disappeared and everyone on here gave me the kick up the rear I needed.😁
I'm also grateful that our new car has arrived and I can now get more than 2 bags of shopping at once!
And I'm grateful for the opportunity to sit in the sun and write this post☀️☀️

What a brilliant idea1. For my supporting family who help with my weight loss journey
2. Nhs who showed me active 10 which introduced me to you guys and you are so great
3.that the weather isn't always over 80 in UK and I can now enjoy stress free living as I am not working anymore. I am greatful for my lifestyle change and very lucky to have it as it is
Thank you for joining in with the Happiness chat, I've heard of the Active 10, but never used it, perhaps I should take a look and add it to my running!
I'm also hoping for the temperature to drop, I like the heat in small doses and when I can take a dip in the pool and not when trying to keep 38 children occupied!! ( I work in a children's nursery, there not all mine!!!🤣🤣🤣)
Happy Monday to everyone - still learning my way around the site and looking forward to getting properly involved in the forum when I get back from holiday next week, and get on the scales to find out my true weight.
Things I'm grateful for:
1) Being able to have a nice long summer holiday and time away from work and spending time with my parents, brother and his family.
2) My wife, and kids.
3) Finding this forum, which already seems so supportive and (I'm grateful for) the ability to be able to lose weight with the support of everyone here and my family.
Thank you - we’re having a lovely time thank you. My parents divide their time between the UK and here now so it’s nice to spend some time with them and the rest of the family.
Today I was grateful for the encouragement and support shown throughout my first run with running club for a while. A very warm 4.96mile ( I should have rounded upto to 5 mile, but I was knackered!!)
I'm grateful for: The cancer center & my Oncologist that's treating me & the fact that it's just over the hill from my apartment, that my parents are still alive, for the few friends I have, & this forum.
Good morning OneLump22, thank you for joining in, hope you are making positive progress with your treatment and that travelling to your oncologist doesn't seem to be too arduous. This forum is something I'm also grateful for, without the lovely support and encouragement offered by everyone I would have no doubt not got as far in my journey as I am now 😊
Hello everyone , well its nearly the end of the working week and I'm grateful for that, although i only work 3 days!!!Wednesday I met up with a friend and her son for lunch which was lovely and I'm grateful that the weather stayed fine so he could explore the play area ( he's 2 years old)
I'm also grateful that I ran 3.85 miles in the evening making my total 11.9 miles in the last 7 days.
Hello again, today I'm grateful my hairdresser could squeeze me in this morning in, new colour and style on its way 😊After a challenging week at work,I'm also grateful to my manager for the support and kick up the rear I needed to address the issue 😊
Hello siggie, I hope you are well. Happiness, I am just watching Andre Rieu on the television and it is absolutely fabulous, music makes me happy. Thank you for hosting, it is much appreciated. Take care xx
Afternoon Siggie, oh there is so much to be happy about lol
Firstly that after the visit to see my hip consultant, i wont have to wait too long to get my new hip - it'll be done sometime this side of christmas
I'm very happy to still have the support of everyone here on this forum. The advise and support here is second to none and i wouldn't be where i am now if it wasn't for the lovely members here.
Dogs are my other happiness. I've had the pleasure of looking after quite a lot of dogs recently (and some more next week) and i just love watching them mooch around together and having the odd game of chase when the mood takes them. They have a "race track" round the garden and on warmer days it includes a pit stop in the paddling ppol to cool off or have a quick drink lol Watching them sleep and dream/twitch also make me very happy and happy dogs means a very happy Springers ❤️ xx
Just a quick post to thank you all for taking the time to read and join in with the Happiness Celebration, I hope you've had a lovely week and look forward to joining you all again in 10 weeks, when it will be nearly Bonfire Night!!! I refuse to mention the C word in August😂😂😂
Thanks for hosting the Chat this week Siggie. I think its acceptable to mention Christmas now, i've already seen adverts for it and did you know in18 sunday's time it will be Christmas Day 😂❤️😂 xx
