Long lovely walk in the sunshine

Evening, just completed a 3.9 walk in about an hour. Feeling super chuffed to have pushed myself out and exercised. Was wondering πŸ€” how many calories I had burned?... unsure whether to have a little chocolate tomorrow...its going to be so hard not too...anyone feeling the same? 😊

Long time, no see :) Are you thinking of joining the weight loss forum again?

Sounds great :) I suggest you think of any exercise/activity as something with lots of positives but don't link it with weight loss and definitely don't think of it in terms of calories burned: that's never going to be accurate.

I don't have any chocolate in but I'm planning a tasty dinner - and eggs for brunch, have to have eggs at Easter :)

Edit: does the Saxenda make any difference to your appetite?

Hi thanks for your message, yes it definitely makes a difference to your appetite and definitely makes you feel a bit fuller, which is a nice thing for an overeater and secret chocolate eater. Agree about all you said...I did enjoy the walk so that's a plus. 😊

I hope you have lovely spring weather over the weekend.

I wonder if you'd be interested in this blog from a GP who make big changes to her weight and health by changing her diet. She has a sample one week menu. fatismyfriend.co.uk/

Happy Easter and have a good week :)

Well done on your walk, Yes you deserve a little chocolate. The hardest part is is getting out of the front door and bring cycle out of shed, once out for 10 mi utes I'm fine, its all about motivation, I've got to start very soon as I'm 6ft 2" and 19 1/2 stone which a lot say I can carry it because of height, but I don't feel fit so either today or Monday I'm going to push myself on Mtn bike and go 20 miles on trail besides river, Reading your post as given me optimism to just go. Thanks for posting your nearly 4 mile walk πŸ‘

Hi, thankyou so much for your message and brilliant that you'll be getting the bike out for a cycle. Hope you have a great time and it will motivate you even more. So often I was saying no to walks, but the feeling you get when you have finished is great. Enjoy! 😊
