Where do I start?
Hi and welcome, Dolly83
I suspect that most of us will be able to relate and I hope we'll be able to help you change the pattern and lose the excess weight.
If you spend some time reading the information that's available on the forum, I'm sure you'll find a plan that you can stick to and support from other members.
All of the information you need about the forum can be found in Pinned Posts healthunlocked.com/weight-l... and we hope you'll be joining all the Events, Challenges and Clubs that we run, especially the weigh-in and daily diary.
If you haven't already taken it, here's a tour of the forum healthunlocked.com/?tour=true
We've found active participation to be key to successful weight loss and, of course, it's a good way to get to know people, find inspiration and share support and encouragement.
Wishing you all the best
Hi DollyI am the same, I've done ww and this app before. I've decided to think of one day at a time...we can do it and we can just do one day at a time. Just say today I will use the calorie app, stick to it....you can do it....good luck for today!
What do you crave ? Evenings are the worst for me so if I crave something sweet then I sip low cal hot choc drink or have a long bath - there are some fantastic bath bombs in the sales or peel an orange - takes time . If you are trying to reduce weight via calories then juggle to allow a decent bowl of mixed fruit salad . I buy frozen berries as it just adds a nice touch to the norm of apple , orange , banana etc . If you like savoury then almonds - say max 20 take time to digest and eat . Don't see this as a punishment . I have found keeping busy helps so seek out a class to go to - difficult with Covid but my friend has just started learning French and the class will get together eventually . Don't shop on a empty stomach either and keep to a list . You can only eat what you buy. I am 61 and I love Zumba . You Tube is great . Spend half or an hour doing 'Irinas classes and you will feel you have achieved something .
Focused1's idea of an orange is a great one. I also have 2 brazils, 4-6 walnut halves with one piece of dark chocolate and it seems to hit the spot. I sympathise as I have terrible cravings and cannot have stuff in the house!
