I continue to stick to my healthy eating regime, and my healthy lifestyle of walking on average four miles a day (9,761 steps), although some days I am walking much further. What gets me so disheartened is that time I step on the scales at the end of the week to find I have not budged any more pounds.
Do not get me wrong, like I have said over the last few weeks, I have lost 34lbs (15.4 kilos) in weight since last August which is phenomenal, but I have been stuck at 12 stone 7 (79.4 kilos) for 5 weeks. For this reason, I have chosen Lionel Richie’s song, “Stuck on You” …
Do not get me wrong, I will win my own personal battle and loose that last stone I am aiming for, it just feels a little uphill at the moment. A couple more months should see me through.
How are your week’s going? Are you making friends with your health? Good luck with whatever you are planning.
…
Stuck on you
I've got this feeling down deep in my soul that I just can't lose
Guess I'm on my way
Needed a friend
And the way I feel now I guess I'll be with you 'til the end
Guess I'm on my way
Mighty glad you stayed
…
I'm stuck on you
Been a fool too long I guess it's time for me to come on home
Guess I'm on my way
So hard to see
That a woman like you could wait around for a man like me
Guess I'm on my way
Mighty glad you stayed
…
Oh, I'm leaving on that midnight train tomorrow
And I know just where I'm going
I've packed up my troubles and I've thrown them all away
'Cause this time little darling
I'm coming home to stay
…
I'm stuck on you
I've got this feeling down deep in my soul that I just can't lose
Guess I'm on my way
Needed a friend
And the way I feel now I guess I'll be with you 'til the end
Guess I'm on my way
I'm mighty glad you stayed
I'm mighty glad you stayed
