Possibly hormonal bloating? Water retention? I have the same issues about week 3 of 4. Its taken me months to work out, that and wanting carbs more than usual 😩
Ummh maybe a little, I'm the end of week 1 of 4 and ovulating, maybe that's had a little impact. I'm gonna keep an eye on it over the coming months and see if my body fluctuates but I don't think it could be this bad. Water retention - maybe although if I'm retaining could it only retain at my gut?
Have you found anything to help you through the carb cravings and are you still doing LCHF?
I've had a brief respite from LCHF for a couple of weeks before Christmas and have struggled to get back on any plan to be honest!!! I've shopped to restart LCHF from tomorrow. As far as the carb cravings, I just go with them and try and be a bit mindful x x
It sounds like you've got everything ready to go for tomorrow and it's just a matter of grinding it out over the next few days until you've re-adjusted. It'll get easier once you've gotten through the first week and you'll get back into the swing of things. The best thing to ask yourself is "do I want my desire to reach my end goal to outweigh my desire to indulge right now?"
Did you eat differently over Xmas and reduce regular exercise . My digestive system took time to adjust to all the salty snacks and rich different food . I am now trying to eat a few more cleansing foods and limiting coffee . I have found fruit teas help and I actually like their taste . Fresh grilled fish and a large cottage cheese salad flavoured with black pepper and herbs really makes me feel better too .
Yeah, I've not been exercising much at all since Christmas and have just started detoxing from a ridiculous amount of sugar. Needless to say, I felt like I was dying for 3/4 days. Yeah, fruit teas and grilled fish sound like very easily digestible food, maybe even anti-inflammatory. That might be what it is, my gut adapting. I think I'm gonna check out anti-inflammatory foods. Thank you.
