Ooops

I’ve been soooo good haven’t touched sugar or any ‘treats’ but I had 3 twix fingers after dinner today! I’m fine with it, which is great improvement form the guilt, spiral and binge that would of happened before, but annoyed I broke my perfect streak and coz it’s weigh in tomorrow for me! 🤬 oh well!!Xx

Hi, do you know why you went for the Twix? Did you eat enough - and enough of the right stuff - to keep you full during the day? Is it something you need to keep out of your cupboards? It's not a mistake if there's something you can learn from. I see you joined the Daily Diary today: I hope you enjoy it: it's a great place for planning and for general chat about food :)

I have a bit of a thing about 'treats'. The definition of 'treat' is something unusual, out of the ordinary. If it's something we have every day or every couple of days, it's not a 'treat', it's part of our regular diet.

Hey BridgeGirl , yea I’m pretty sure it was because I just have a nervous energy all day because I’m editing a compilation of video messages for a friends wedding for her to watch before the ceremony on Friday and the groom only gave me the videos last night so been in a frantic state trying to finish it! Got to my desk at 8am and didn’t move till about 11pm, except for 30 mins for lunch and dinner!

Like I wasn’t even craving anything sweet it was a pure automatic action to keep busy! Not really sure how to combat that tbh x

Good grief, that's a long day! What a lovely contribution to the wedding. I'm sure both bride and groom will be delighted with it :)

That does sound very busy and quite stressful too! You didn't binge so that sounds like great progress and actually well deserved. :)

I was off sugar and dreaded crisps for 4 and a half days and then binged last night on sweets and crisps. It's very difficult but have resolved to get back to it today. Just a blip 💪💪

I think you have to forget the negative of eating the Twix firstly because you have had a highly pressurised and stressful long day. Secondly you stopped at 3 and didn't follow it with anything else and lastly, you have recognised why it has happened and hopefully learned from it. Its a shame its the day before weigh-in but that may prove to be a reminder if the urge strikes again. Be good to yourself. Stop and move on xx

That sounds brilliant that you managed not to continue and stayed away from a guilt/binge spiral , well done 👍
