Thanks MintTeaMascara - I'll definitely try to engage with some of these sessions, although I might not necessarily do them at the same time as you all do - but I'll try to do them, and report back as well. I like the idea, it's fun.
Hello Mini. I'm in!!!! I've been looking for something like this to motivate me now that we are in lockdown again! I did intend to walk for 30 minutes each day but one look at the fog outside has scuppered that idea.
Can't wait to get started.
Whoopeeeeee I am one of those strange people who get high on exercise.π
Just downed a gallon of water LOL. A good combination of lower and upper body work, I enjoyed it. Think I'm going to feel it tomorrow. πThanks for hosting MintTeaMascara looking forward to Tuesday.
I started a bit early, I really like this workout, it's great for doing in a small space too as you dont travel too much! Knackered now, no doubt will feel the aches tomorrow, didn't bother with weights this time, will work up to that in the future π₯΅π
Nice work. Glad you enjoyed it. Me too once I got into it. I dont think you need weights (unless you want to), you can just squeeze the muscle as you do each movement.
I'm really looking forward to Thursdays video, it's definetly my favourite.
Join thursdays in your own time if you can.
Hope you're not too sore tomorrow. All the movements can be adapted to whatever you feel comfortable with. It might be more enjoyable that way.
If I dont see you on Thursday, I hope to see you next Tuesday.
I enjoyed this work-out - I did it earlier today though. I didn't use weights - and I'm glad I didn't, as it definitely worked the muscles without weights...! Maybe over time, I might add some in.
I think I enjoyed this one the most so far. I can see you like Thursdays best - so I shall be interested to see what that one's like.
I'm sure there's much less jumping about and need for coordination on Thursday βΊοΈβΊοΈβΊοΈ
It's brighten my day a bit. I'm sure Thursdays is more catered towards finding your own level and style of workout, you'll have to let me know what you think on Thursday
I have just finished doing Thursday's session, and I am sweating! I enjoyed it - really good. I see what you mean about the impact on the legs - but it's a good work-out, and I'm glad I did it.
I didn't realise you'd posted here, I'll have to 'follow' the thread, so I don't miss you next time. I started doing the work-out last night, but quite early in the evening - and it didn't continue past the first couple of minutes - just stopped, and I therefore ended up doing a different work-out which was also 30 minutes, but I enjoyed it.
Hope you're enjoying the weekend. I'm aiming to keep up the frequency of 3 sessions of Aerobic sessions per week - but can't commit to specific time - I tend to do them 'as and when' fits with my schedule.
I tend to be a bit spontaneous about it! As and when... lol But I'll keep an eye out for you, and will definitely try to keep doing them regularly. They are good fun and great exercise.
No worries, it cut off after about 5 minutes, so I'm going to go to the u-tube version, and hopefully that will be ok. It doesn't matter as long as I get to do it. I really like the Tuesday one, it's probably my favourite one of the three.
Just wanted you to know I'm going to do Tuesdays workout now (Monday) - as I fancy half an hour of an enjoyable work-out, so I'm doing it in a few minutes...
Zest
p.s. Just finished it, and it was really enjoyable. Honestly, so much fun!
Just to say MintTeaMascara - I should be able to do the session at 2pm tomorrow, all being well. Not sure if you're still doing that time, but I'll hope to join you if you are, and if not, I'll most likely be doing it then - I am enjoying it.
If anyone wants to participate but could do with the extra encouragement and wants a personal notification as a reminder before classes start, let me know and I'll be happy to help
MintTeaMascara Hiya, thanks for the tag. I've put up a general post so you will see that I'm unable to continue with anything at present. Will be back asap. Looks like the sessions have taken off, really pleased about that as it is so motivating when others are joining in. Take care. X
Yes, he really is. He does really well. I haven't carried any hand-weights to do it yet, but maybe sometime I'll try with tins of beans or something like that. I have got some small hand-weights somewhere - I think I might try to find them another time.
I enjoyed that! π Saturdays workout is becoming a fast favourite. If anyone would like to join in on Saturdays but can't make the time.. I'm considering changing the time so suggestions welcome x
Hi MintTeaMascara I'm glad you enjoyed it. I really like all three of the work-outs, they are really good. I find it hard to commit to a fixed time, as even when I know about the time, I have a daily schedule that often chops and changes, hence I think I'll just aim to do them regularly, and if I see you doing it at a time I can join in, I'll certainly let you know.
Glad you enjoyed it MintTeaMascara - I hope I can find a window of time to fit it in later, but Tuesdays are always very full on for me - but I'll do it tomorrow if I can't manage it today.
They are such great work-outs - I love the fact they tackle the whole body, and I feel like I'm toning up very well.
Hi MintTeaMascara That was great! I really enjoyed it. Great to know I managed to do it alongside you this time. I'm dashing off now, but hope you enjoy the rest of the day.
Hi MintTeaMascara I have thoroughly enjoyed doing these work-outs, and am making them part of my routine now - aiming for 3 work-outs per week as a minimum, and doing them as and when the opportunity and inclination arises. So many thanks for organising this thread, and your great initiatives. Really good fun.
All our classes have been cancelled and we only have access to the gym floor, so I considered sticking with the workouts - but there's more space at the gym and it'll be a change of environment, as I have no clue when classes will be restarting.
You're welcome - I'm glad it's been of benefit. I definitely have better endurance after them. It was really lovely to have you joining in. Thanks
