Just on to say that I am still around. But I now have my little grandson a couple of days a week again (including Thursday all day) πYEAHHH! and still having computer problems π€¦ββοΈ BOOO! Which is why I am finding it hard to get to weigh online for Thursday thinners lately (STS this week)
Is anyone else finding that life feels a lot busier with lock down easing? Not always work type busy, but getting back to seeing people more and making time to visit (at a distance still) or feeling safer to stop and talk to people when you are out shopping etc.? It is fantastic! But feels a bit odd after all that time just pottering around at home. How quickly we adapt!
This morning I should have been going to the local park and helping out with the group who are working on improving it, but weather looks very bad, so think that is off. SO it is just Sunday dinner for us and take some for friend, up the street, then the Spanish GP to watch, with my sister coming over, then drive her back home and chill out .... life is just one mad social whirl! Ha ha! π
Stay safe and I WILL post on next Think thin Thursday!! π€π π

Hi Vale. Yes we have the grandkids back for minding and sleepovers. It's great to have them. It's great that everything is opening up a little albeit a tad nervously. Hope you can pop into the Thinners on Thursday and if not keep on keeping on until you can xx
Cheers Jints! I will be on this week! even of I have to get up and do it at
4 am!! π It will be back us having him at the weekends (virus risk in schools dependant) once school is back in a few weeks. so should be back to having Thursdays a bit freer again. π
Life does seem to be getting back into a new version of normal. I currently have my granddaughter here for a sleepover and itβs wonderful. Weβve been able to visit our grandson and his new baby sister (and mum and dad too π) and I love it.
The one good thing about this situation is that weβve come to appreciate what is important in life. βThingsβ donβt matter people do. Xx
So true Jubbly! I have asked my sister over to our house manytimes, and I think she has been about a dozen times in 42 year. π But now has started coming over most GP Sundays (which just about every Sunday right now with the newly arranged GP calendar) and we call each other more and sometimes drop in to see her on my way home from work. It is good. And having my little munchkin back for sleepovers is heaven!!!! π
Hi. I couldn't agree more. We shielded our 5year old from March 13th to Aug 1st. Apart from her needing a few days in hospital we didn't leave house, and apart from her nurse coming out and tesco delivery we didn't have any callers.
Life was simple and became enjoyable and relaxed. We have many aspects of our lives we will be changing to ensure we continue to feel as happy and less work stressed.
Having grandson to stay must be so exciting π My eldest and her fiance are expecting their first (a boy) in November, can't wait to become a Grandma.
