Love your photograph Sean I wish I looked that good. Literacy curriculum brave man !! As a former secondary English teacher I feel your pain. Sweating is good Sean apparently when fat is broken down we pee it and sweat it out. All this work for pee and sweat eh !!

Lovely to hear you sounding so positive.my other half says I’m looking slimmer and I’m wearing jeans that I had grown too big for but I’ve still at least a stone and a half to go.

Keep going Sean and if you need to have a day off now and again go for it.

I had wine and chocolate yesterday but I’m back on it today. I reckon I need at least three months before I get back to anything like what I want to be. At 66 it may take me a bit longer. I already feel so much better for it. It’s a win win. You feel better, you look better, you have more energy, you’re more confident and take pride in your appearance. I cycle, I love getting out on the bike so it doesn’t feel like exercise to me. If you you enjoy the running that’s great. I used to do half marathons and I actually got hooked because of the adrenalin buzz. You be careful 😂

Hi JD, thanks for the inspiration. I had no idea that you sweat and pee your excess fat out...no wonder I am peeing so much! The unfortunate side effect of becoming trimmer is that I am now having to wear a belt. I know at some point soon I am going to have to buy some new jeans, but that cn wait for now.

I also love biking and, once the lockdown here in Leicester ends, I intend to go for a long ride into the countryside. I also love walks though, so doing that would be great. I also used to do half marathons, I think the last one I did was the Silverstone Half, but that was years ago. I may look at doing them again and see if I can fulfil a lifetime ambition of running the London Marathon...who knows?

Good luck on the weight, you've got about the same amount to lose as I do. I want to lose another 2 and then that's it...maintain for me.

Stay safe!

Ah brill Sean biking is great for trimming your stomach obviously personally I feel anything where you're out and about is a more pleasurable way of doing exercise. I am hoping to start swimming again soon when the pools open. Isn't it great when your jeans are too big. Good man 👍
