What I learnt recently is to eat your food slowly. Chew it 32 times before swallowing it. And concentrate on what you eat. This way your food with be easy to digest. We mostly skip these useful methods. Hope this help.
All of the information you need about the forum can be found in Pinned Posts healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... and we hope you'll be joining all the Events, Challenges and Clubs that we run, especially a weigh-in and the daily diary.
We've found active participation to be key to successful weight loss and, of course, it's a good way to get to know people, find inspiration and share support and encouragement.
Thank you so much for reaching out, Moreless I hope to be a part of this amazing forum for long and reach my destination while enjoying my journey here.
the best bit of advice I can give is to join in the daily diaries which are one of the pinned posts. They are very active, you can see what other people are doing, you can ask questions, pinch recipe ideas but most importantly feel part of a wider group of people all supporting and encouraging one another 👍
Hi Kaz, i second what others have said before me. Make good use of this forum. At a minimum join the daily diaries, there is so much to learn and explore by reading other people's food plans, i promise you wont get bored. I've gone from eating mainly ready prepared meals (good ones and bad in terms of healthiness) to cooking almost everything from scratch and loving the doing and eating of them all.
Also pick a weigh in day and attend that weekly. Again the support, encouragement and advise is second to none 😊
One of the big changes i made at the beginning of my journey was to make sure i sat down for every meal undisturbed and to eat more slowly to actually enjoy the food instead of "shovelling it in" 😂
The last piece of advice i would give right now is, yes have a specific target in mind, but break that down into bite sized chunks. It really helps keep the motivation and enjoyment going.
Wishing you the best on your journey and looking forward to chatting with you on the pinned posts xx
Hi Kaz, I'm new and just saw your post. How is your weight loss going? It's hard work I know.I would be interested to know how you are? I'm about to get started!
