Struggling with weight loss in heat, no weight loss results

I've never liked hot weather, but in recent years I can't cope any more with heatwaves. I keep my running and exercise plan up to date (after 7 pm). I'm also in daily calories deficit about -750kcal, sadly my scale doesn't show any results this week and weight has gone a little bit up. I'm 47.

What kind of food are you eating, Paja02 ? I find 'what' you eat has more impact that 'how many calories' you eat. Also, weight plateaus are a normal thing even if the nutrition is otherwise working.

I don’t eat any process food, lean meat, vegetables

That sounds great. Might be a plateau and just need to give the body a little time. Keep on keeping on.

The hot weather does cause a lot of people to retain water, especially when there is humidity, causing lack of weight/cms loss, that may be happening to you. Your running/exercise plan could be doing the same as micro tears in the muscles also retain water for the repair phase. A double whammy with the heat. I don’t count calories (LCHF) but you do have a large deficit - are you actually eating enough? That could be another reason for your blip. (I don’t buy into the gaining muscle theory if you’re new to the exercise, it takes time and protein to build muscle.) Oh! And you might just be on a plateau - but it would have to be longer than a week to count as that.

Sorry to jump on the post - do you know roughly how long the micro tears following exercise retain water for? (so if you had to "beat" the scales on a particular day how long beforehand should the exercise be?
