Hiya, I've just downloaded all the weekly plans and hoping to finally have the willpower to get and lose the 5-6st I need to lose. Lockdown, being on my own has caused me to eat my way through my emotions.

I joined about 3 weeks ago and am doing the 12 week NHS plan 😊
Lockdown can be tough right... I'm possibly having a different experience as am in this with young family..
Good on us for trying to make positive changes through healthier eating in the middle of challenges..
I know others will warmly welcome you too and reply to your post once they start waking up or posting tomorrow (which is just about to be today 😊)..
This includes a call out to TeamAdmin to introduce you to the different parts of the forum..

Lockdown on your own is tough, I'm finding it hard enough with family. I hope that now some of the restrictions have been lifted you are able to meet up with family or a friend.

Hi and welcome! I’m new here also and understand completely about lockdown and emotional eating! I’m not alone, in fact I have a husband and 4 kids at home which has brought its own challenges! I think taking that first step in acknowledging something needs to change is a huge achievement so well done! I have been stunned by how supportive this forum is so post away any thoughts/feelings/struggles you are having someone will always reply with words of wisdom. Good luck x
Hi and welcome 😊 many of us are here due to lockdown weight gain so you are not alone! I’ve found the Daily Dairy section to be really useful. I post each day what I’m planning on eating (along with my plan as everyone is doing different things - I’m calorie counting) and get encouragement and feedback along with recipe ideas and it keeps me motivated. I’ve shifted my lockdown weight gain in 4 weeks and now I’m working on the rest of my excess baggage 😂😂 all the best with your journey!

Sounds like a great plan! One tip I will pass on - although I’m calorie counting I’ve also ditched low fat food and avoid processed food too where I can - and I’m not craving sweets/chocolate etc which is making this much easier to manage! All the best with your fresh start 😊
