Hello: I have been trying to lose weight... - Weight Loss Support
Hello
Youve come to the right place for support and advice, really helpful friendly people here. Look at the nhs 12 week plan its a great starting point. 4 st in a year is definitely doable. Its hard work but so worth it. Ive lost 4st so far and have another 5 st to go so dont give up hope. Having a goal to aim towards will help keep you focused. Break the weight down into smaller goals and reward yourself when you reach that goal, makes it easier to manage. Good luck
You can do it. Go on the NHS website. It is free and honest. They have a 12 weeks weight loss program. It's not one of those fad diet. It is just a guide on how to eat and get rid of bad eating habits. I have learned a lot following this guide and getting advice through this forum. Fibronfedup is correct. Have small goals and you will get there. It is fantastic that you want to take control of your life. You will love it.
Hi, I started the 12 week plan on Monday, very easy to follow, there seems to be lots of support and advise on this site, and there is always someone to answer any questions you have.
Have a good week and good luck on your journey.
I have 5 stone to lose, and like the ladies have suggested I'm breaking it down into small 7Ib goals.
xx
Hello Samanthaf, like everybody else I'm a big fan of the NHS 12 week plan, currently on week 7 and I've lost a stone so far. I've tried very many different diets over the years but never found one I enjoyed doing until now, the people who contribute to this forum are really supportive and inspirational, they offer good, sensible advice and because we are all striving for the same goal we can truly understand the highs and lows. Good Luck, I'm sure you'll lose all the weight you want to before your big day.
