With the encouragement and excellent advice of everyone on here, you are bound to succeed. I find that Intermittent Fasting and the NHS Diet are easy to follow tho many people on here are huge fans of LCHF or Keto. Dieting, depriving yourself of food etc, doesn’t work longterm so healthy eating is the longterm goal. Start cooking from scratch and learn to enjoy the wholesome taste of homemade food. Ditch take outs and “treats” of all kinds. You will learn to miss them less and less. Good luck on your journey!
Thanks Lilaclady, I'm trying (very trying)
Hello I have just joined today too... so I am another newbie....starting the journey too....looking to find a few others who are starting too and wanting to be in a bit of communication for a bit of mutual support..
.i have a skipping rope at my door and have started myself on doing 50 skips for a quick short cardio vascular work out...at the moment as I have been dong the skipping for some weeks .....trying to get into the routine of doing it every day...that hasn't happened...I do it maybe four times a week...so I have not yet built the routine of doing it firmly in the memory so it is part of the routine of what i do each day...working on doing that and hoping to build it up to 3 times a day. I thought the skipping one would be a good place to start as it is quick to do....as it is a short burst of activity.....but like everything it is establishing it as becoming part of the routine of what you do each day.
The other thing I have started to do is a good walk. I am lucky in that I live near the sea in Brighton and Hove and so during all this lockdown I have got that going as something I do everyday...that seems to be working.
Me too, good luck 👍
