Wishing you a Happy Mothers Day !

How lucky we are to have technology for virtual celebration and sunshine too

I woke to the sound of birdsong . Spring is here

And wishing you a lovely Mothering Sunday too, especially thinking of those who cannot be with family today and also those for whom today comes with a sense of loss remembering their mothers, those who had or have a difficult relationship with their mother and those who yearn to be a mother. I hope we all can help embrace eachother over the "airwaves" .

Just had a phone call from my ITU doctor son to wish me happy Mother’s Day from his car as he is heading back to the hospital for another day at the sharp end. We are so proud of him but also worry for him

Our daughter is a teacher and looking after key workers children . We hope she stays safe too

Our eldest daughter is helping us all.

All my husband and I can do to help is stay home and try to stay healthy and support others emotionally as much as we can

That's very important, we need "tent pegs" in a storm they help hold the rest of things together!!!

I think lots of Mothers will be having a day without their children, thank goodness for modern technology, we are becoming quite proficient at Video Chat 😊

As I was just saying over on the Nutty Natterings thread, if you are lucky enough to still have your own Mum, and have healthy happy children, every day is Mother’s Day 💐

I love the vase of flowers and those flowers are among my favourite. Yes I don't know what I would do without my computer. It was lovely to waken this morning to beautiful sunshine and birds all around. I think this health crisis is showing us all what the really important things in life are.
