Just to stay slim for a little while
"Slim for a little while?" Surely there are no benefits in remaining overweight?
If you fix your diet you can be slim forever ... and a lot healthier too. From your previous posts, it sounds as if your general heath is going rapidly downhill, most likely as a result of your present diet. When you start eating healthy food, you'll just feel so much better (as well as losing the weight you don't want). Why not give it a try?
Im actually not over weight at all and I have fixed my diet im not trying to lose alot of weight and look sick ive had 4 children and I actually look good i jus have that mommy tummy that's been very difficult to lose and don't want folks asking "how far along are you?" When im not pregnant
That tummy weight is dangerous fat. Fat arms or legs or arse may be unattractive but they do you no harm. A fat belly says you have visceral fat around and in your organs and sets you up for a host of metabolic diseases like heart disease, fatty liver and diabetes.
You need to lose that and keep it off, not just for the wedding.

(unless there is no fat there, if it's stretched skin with little fat underneath, there is little to be done, just surgery or spanx.)
Buy ginger root and boil it in water and drink it a few times a day or put some apple cider vinegar in some water and drink that also

Hello Destinyweathers and welcome to the forum,
I am not sure why you want to stay slim for only a while, if you are going to put the effort in to loose some weight, I would hope that would mean that you found a sustainable way of eating that would keep you slim and healthy.
I'm afraid there are no quick fixes and I don't know of any eating plans that help you to loose weight from a particular part of your body. Cutting out beige carbs, pasta, potato, bread and rice may help your tummy feel smaller, if you suffer with bloating.
I would suggest you have a good read around the forum, the Daily Diary would be a good place to start to see the plans that others are following.
If you haven't already, please take the time to read the Welcome Newbies post, this will help you to navigate the forum, link given below. Whilst in Pinned Posts have a read of all the other challenges, clubs, activities and events that we have on offer to keep you engaged with the forum. Participation really helps, I also suggest that you join today's weigh in. The link to this can be found in Pinned Posts as well.

I agree with pretty much everything everyone else has said about a healthy way of eating for life I have my daughter's wedding coming up in May and of course am hoping for the best when it comes to how I fit/look in my dress I have been doing Lucy Wyndham exercise videos on YouTube. She has a whole selection of short videos (7 minute workouts) aimed at the belly area which are very easy to do. I measured myself when I started them and I think things are a little trimmer. I also agree with Lucigret about the bloating effect of carbs, I really notice that. And, yes, Subtle_Badger, possibly spanx too!
