Take away
Hello and welcome, Gaga25
Whatever it is you fancy - Indian, Chinese, Italian .... - you'll be able to find a healthier "fakeaway" online and you'll know what you're eating if you make it yourself. You can also check out our recipes in Topics.
You'll find all you need to make the most of the forum in Pinned Posts healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... The Welcome message explains how to find Topics. I also recommend joining a weekly weigh in and using the Daily Diary, where members log their meal plans.
Active participation can give you a real boost so I hope we'll see you out and about, around the forum
Hi Gaga and welcome
I agree totally with everything BG has said and would add that you can normally make your own takeaway at least as tasty and a lot cheaper.
Additionally, what is wrong with the odd takeaway? I'm assuming that you're following some kind of health plan... can you not adjust it for the day or the week so that it can include a takeaway?
Best of luck!
I would have anything that has a lot of veg in it so you balance out ..say Chow mein ..know some has a lot of salt but it will be lower on the cals and a complete dish as curry , chicken , burgers etc need something with them . I see peoples point about tweaking yourself but my idea on takeouts is that it is weekend , feet up and no cooking or washing up .
Well, the dearly beloved and I have a takeaway or go out for a curry every week.
I'm LCHF and skip the rice/nan/popadum and have a tandoori chicken dish cooked with onions and peppers (shaslick I think it's called) and served with salad, with an okra side dish.
Ord how a food can call your name isn't it? With me it's cheese. Good luck.
