I work away: hi all new to this I work... - Weight Loss Support
I work away
Eggs are good, some supermarkets sell them boiled - avoid scotch eggs, omg the calories in those! I found in the sandwiches fridge at Tesco a wrap made of omelette filled with ham and tomato, it was really nice. People say nuts are good but recommended portion is so tiny I tend not to bother. I am on low carb diet and would avoid all pasta, bread stuff. It's easy but it isn't good for me. Good luck
thank you ella
How much weight do you want to lose?
well I'm about 18st my healthy weight is 12.5 st big goal I know
I was 23, now 19. My goal is 12 but expecting (not just hoping) to be 15 by August and then work down from there. Good luck! You can do it. Try doing some boxing while sat in traffic. And squats in the petrol station toilet. And laps round your lorry when in a break. 🏋🏽♀️🤸🏻♀️

Welcome to the weight loss forum.
There are lots of ideas for snacks and meals in the Topic section on the right side or at the bottom if on a mobile.
Take a look at the "Welcome Newbies" post in the pinned post section on the right hand side or at the bottom if on a mobile. There is a link in the post to the nhs 12 week plan and a BMI checker to work out your daily allowance.
Feel free to join in with any of the challenges also found in the pinned post section. They are fun to do and are great at keeping us all motivated.
We run weigh-ins Monday to Saturday, Monday and Tuesday are full, but feel free to join us any day from Wednesday to Saturday. You will find them in the "Events" section on the Home page.
Have a good first week.

Hi a good snack, other than fruit, could be Walkers Sunbites Wholegrain Popcorn only 59 calories a pack and i try to eat them one at a time so they last for ages. I agree with EllaMidlands and if u can fit some exercise into your day that would really help too. Best of luck ☺
Do you have a chiller compartment? You could deep freeze some meals at the weekend then keep them in the chiller. I try to have a bowl of stewed apple in the fridge which I can add to cereal, oats or even mix with a fried onion and some sage as a savoury dressing. That keeps for several days.
What about a jacket potato with beans or tuna for dinner. And I like to snack on cherry tomatoes and carrots as they don't need any preparation as well as fruit. And drink plenty water as you may find you are thirsty more than hungry sat in your cab all day.
Good luck
