Hi I know its a personal question , but do you ladies find your cycle is more frequent when your on a diet? its always been the same for me and as I am epileptic my seizures are worse during that time, if you have managed to solve this can you give me the answer. I don't want this to stop my diet

I haven't noticed a difference, but then I'm on the pill so I keep taking them when I don't want a period.

Sorry, not a whole lot of help. But I was also a late bloomer (started at 15) and have generally been erratic when not on the pill.

I too am.of little help, I had a hysterectomy almost two yrs ago so thankfully I don't have to put up with a cycle! Previous to that though I can't ever remember a change in pattern, I was always pretty regular (possibly to do with the pill as well though!) Hope you find an answer!x

wow that must have been uncomfortable, bet it helped you to lose a little weight though

It did, weighed 10lb less after so there was a good end to the story. Unfortunately i seem to have found the 10lb on my hips recently 😉

I am also epileptic, I tend to have more seizures during cycle as well, I don't find my cycle any different when on diet though although this is the first diet I have found that actually works for me.

I struggle to lose weight as my meds cause weight gain so its painfully slow taken me 6 years to lose my weight

I have the same thing with a lot of my tablets, hoping to reduce them all as the weight comes off because according to most doctors all my health problems are due to obesity. Not sure how being fat put 2 discs out in my NECK lol

Good luck with your weight loss

Best way to lose slowly as i have found you dont gain it back that way. You are losing weight thats all that matters and heading in the right direction. Good luck

mumwivbigbum - just to say, snort, I love your username! Unfortunately I can't help with your question as I am post-menopausal, but wishing you lots of success.

I haven't noticed any problems in the past while dieting apart from weigh ins as I tend to gain between 4-6 lb leading up to it starting so it has always stopped me joining WW as they used to 'fine' you if you gained weight and I couldn't afford to be fined every 4 weeks lol.

Does anyone know if they still do that now?

wow really?? last time i was there i didn't notice people getting fined. But in America if you gained the most you are put in a pig sty in the corner of the room and an inflatable pig is put in your front yard/garden. Friend of mine lived in America and was astounded how nice it was hear, she said it kept them on track though as nobody wanted to be branded "the pig" for the week

I wonder if that was particular to your friend's group? My Mom has been in WW on and off over the years and I'm sure she never said anything about that!

I am going back about 15-20 years ago when a friend used to go. She lost a lot of weight but put it all back on within 2 months of stopping and a bit more too.

At least it didn't cost me anything to lose the weight I put back on lol
