Hi there, unfortunately these days I spend my time between hospital and home, and as a consequence my diet has suffered. I’ve put on a considerable amount of weight and now don’t exercise, which was something I really enjoyed. It’s now a habit and easier to pick up an unhealthy snack than a piece of fruit. Plus more accessible when going to do a shop isn’t always possible. I have been diagnosed as having high cholesterol too, so it’s about time I got my backside in gear. My girl needs me healthy and to be honest I hate how fat I feel!

If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism.

Some of us here find that what works is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Snacking All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:
