First Weight Post!

Today's weight 80kgs

Starting weight 85kgs

Weekly weight loss goal 1kg

Goal weight 65kgs

20kgs to go!!!

Apologies in advance for using kgs as opposed to stones, but this is what I understand.

I joined the group a little over two weeks ago but haven't got my act together until now!! I know that recording my weight and having the group to discuss it with will provide greater incentive.

So, my long term goal is to develop healthy life time habits. I want healthy eating to be what we do in our home, for this weight loss journey but also for my daughters. 8 want them to grow into making good food choices.

I have started doing half an hour of aerobic exercise 5days a week. This has made me feel great in itself, weight loss aside. I have noticed an improvement in my fitness level too. Not a massive leap, but an improvement non the less. I can do a hill climb without being completely winded. Slowly but surely!!!

Out to dinner last Saturday and had two glasses of red wine! That can't have been great for my calorie count but it wasn't excessive either. I don't want to cut out every treat because that won't make for lifelong changes.

Any advice will be gratefully received. I want the weight to come off and I want to keep it off this time!

Lots of us use kg and there are some Americans using pounds.

I started at a similar number to you, but my goal weight is higher.

You should copy and paste this into today's weigh in thread healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... or wait a couple of hours and post it in Tuesday's healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

Also, you only have 15kg to go!

Sorry Catterpillar but you have written a stand alone post and not joined the Group Weigh-in . . . Follow the instructions you were given earlier

This website uses terrible software. Being confused is all part of the service.

I think half the work of admins is navigating people to the right pages. I think I have nearly got the hang of it. 🤨

Thank you, it isn’t the best designed platform is it? But we do our best 😊

You're not the first and you won't be the last. HU's design is pretty poor and our admins don't get any input :(

If you still have any trouble finding today's weigh-in please shout out :)
