Help!!! I need to loose weight quick... Doctor's Orders.

Hi I am new to this forum, I was recently advised by my doctor that I need to lose weight and soon. I've been recently getting up at the crack of dawn to do some jogging and watching my eating habits. I've also have even been researching Youtube for advice on weight loss. I have two kids and I really want to be around to see them graduate in the furture. The only thing I've found so far to help me is by joining a community email group called "Weight Loss Dyynasti" (bit.ly/2oYta5D) recently that has helped me stay focused and committed to my goals. Their emails of support have been giving me great health insight and weight loss actions to take. Does anyone know any other good weight loss challenges I can do to stay away from my doctor's radar? Please, be nice and share. Also I am looking for steps not spam.

Hey hey - you sound like you’re doing great so far and have your mind in the right place so stick to it! I’m a very visual person, if I can’t see the weight coming off, it’ll get me down so what I did once was have two jars - one with ‘pounds to lose’ and the other with ‘pounds smashed!’ Every weigh in I’d put however many pounds I lost and move that amount of pebbles across to the pounds smashed jar. Watching the pounds loss jar get smaller and smaller really kept me going. Good luck!! Keep in touch :)

Hi, Thanks for the advice that is a great idea. I was looking for a great way to log my progress so I will try your technique.

Now that you've had your wake up call, I'm sure that you'll be able to lose those extra pounds with no trouble.

There will be numerous sites offering quick weight loss plans and 'fixes', but we've all learned by experience, that 'dieting' doesn't work long term.
