Hi everyone! I'm a newbie and eager to get my weight loss started although my body and mind are not being very helpful!! I'm looking forward to getting involved and picking up some great inspiration and tips from you all 😃 I'm currently 10st7 and need to get to around 8. I've got a holiday in June so I'd like to lose a good deal of it for then 🤞thanks in advance for the support!

Welcome to this wonderful forum Hidden , you'll certainly get lots of support here but like most things the more you put in the more you get out so my advice is to join in, be involved and set yourself small goals on the way to your larger one. Spend some time finding your way around there is lots going on, one really helpful topic is the Daily Diary where we post our food plans for the next day which really helps stay in control. I wish you every success and look forward to following your progress.

If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism.
Some of us here find that what works is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Snacking All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:
