Overweight and unhappy
Dear Flame,
First of all, you can do this!❤️
I am on a super tight budget too.
I go for walks, and am try to avoid eating any foods with refined sugar or flour.
This means if I am out I am no longer tempted by cheap, high calorie foods.
It forces me to pack food.
I hope this tip helps!
Have a great week!

Some veggies are really good value - carrots turnip cabbage lentils etc..broccoli is lovely but quite pricey so I steam it with leek and cabbage to bulk it out, then put whatever protein/meal I’m having on top..
Hello and welcome to the forum Flamingocrazy 😊
Planning meals saves both calories and cash, as does eating real food and not pre-packaged convenience meals. Lots of vegetables is also helpful.
You will have been sent a link to Pinned Posts in your welcome message. Please read it carefully so you can find all the information you need to find your way around.
This is a very busy forum with lots going on, and nothing beats joining in, reading posts and replying to others. Our group Weigh-in and the Daily Diary are probably the best places to start.
Best wishes in your weight loss journey

Hi, Flamingocrazy , welcome.
Eating fewer meals saves money.
If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism.
Some of us here find that what works is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Snacking All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:
