Hi All! I would like to connect with like-minded people. I am hoping to lose another 2 stones ( 1 lost in 2019). I have Hashmioto disease and hypothyroidism since I was 13 and followed many diets since then. My thyroid is almost non functioning, so I need to take supporting medicine every day and can't lose weight too fast as it influences my condition badly.
The problems is I always gained the lost weight back This time will be different as instead of following stupid diets I completely changed my lifestyle. I go to gym 2-3 times a week, stopped eating sweets (which literally were my addiction) and I am focused more on burning fat and building muscles than loosing kilograms only.

First of all I advise also joining the Thyroid UK forum, as they are extremely knowledgeable about all things Thyroid related healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk
I understand that a lot of people with Hashis also follow a gluten free diet, so maybe that's something to look into too.
If you post a copy of your last blood test, they will be able to offer more informed advice.
All of the information you need about the forum can be found in Pinned Posts healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... and I hope you'll be joining all the Events, Challenges and Clubs that we run, especially a weigh-in and the daily diary.
We've found active participation to be key to successful weight loss and, of course, it's a good way to get to know people, find inspiration and share support and encouragement.
