It said in the post about introducing yourself. So here goes!
My name is katy, recently gave birth to my third child in september.
Put on 51/2 stone
Post pregnancy i went down to 14 stone
Now 4 months after ready to get back to my normal self, but terrified it dont work and i will be stuck in this body that i dont recognise.
I have been counting calaries for the last week. (Since new years) and i am now at 13.8 st-not bad.
My partner doesnt think im going to stick to it...he keeps offering me unhealthy foods and saying things like 'ones not gunna kill you!'. I also explained id lost a few pounds he replied ' from where?' ...I know he wamts me to fail but , its only making me more determined.
I have serious self esteem issues at the moment. I need to do this for me.
Anyone have any motivtional advice/tips tht they can give me?

Hi Katy, the Forum tends to get a bit quiet at this time but what you could try is posting on Tuesdays weigh in(you could copy and paste all or some of what you've put above?) as it's open now and you will start getting replies though probably most tomorrow and we hope you will reply to others as that's how you build up links with people on here and boost each others motivation. You'll know when you are posting on someone else's post as you'll see them shown on the main feed, you have to click on it to read and reply, there's usually a photo and a main heading and you have to scroll down to reply in the comments box. It will seem strange at first and then before you know it,you're away!!
If you're using a phone, Katyh92, I expect you're following links and then clicking on 'Write' to answer. However, 'Write' actually means start a new post, so what you need to do, is scroll down, reading and responding to other people's post, until you come to the last reply box which will say Reply to (Host's name) Leave a comment...
Remember, if you're offered a template to fill in and have to add a title, you're starting a new thread, not replying to someone else's.

Next time he asks "from where have you lose a few pounds," tell him that he lost it, as you took it from his wallet?
As you are "eating for two" you should not try tooo hard to lose weight... but you can cut down on carbs and not snack all day.
If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism.

Hiya guys I realise its been 4 months but I'm now down to 11st 10lbs! Hurrah! Lol just another stone and I will be at my goal weight ! I CAN do this. Such a nice feeling people noticing the weight loss too! So much more confident now. Only a little more to go! Been walking to supermarket this week,2 and a half miles, there and back so hoping that will help as haven't really done any excersise just been dieting . So Woohoo very happy xx
