Hi I'm on the plan and I really struggle with managing my calories. I'll overeat on the first 3 days of the week and then fast or limit my calories for the rest. I don't know if this is healthy or not?
Last week I lost 1.5 kg but it could be water weight, and tomorrow is the a weigh day for my second week. Fingers crossed ,hopefully I lost more!

Hello and welcome to the Weight Loss Forum Purplesquirrel 😊
We all have different ways of doing things. But in general, it’s important to get out of the binge/starve/binge cycle. Maybe have a look at what you are eating, carbohydrates for example are notorious for causing hunger. Have a look at this for more details healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
This is a very busy forum with lots going on, and nothing beats joining in, reading posts and replying to others. Our group Weigh-in and the Daily Diary are probably the best places to start.
When we were hunter-gatherers, a fasting/fasting cycle was normal - and if you are losing weight, you are not "feasting" too much. Losing half a stone initially is normal - but, I think you should try to limit your weight loss to one or two pounds a week.
If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism.
Some of us here find that what works is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Snacking All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:
