Meal ideas please

Hi everyone I’ve just joined I’m 10st 1lb and 5’1” and would love to loose at least 5lb for Xmas, now that might sound easy, it’s not I’m a nibbler and that’s dangerous ha ha, so I’m looking for some tasty meal ideas, I’m lactose intolerant and don’t eat meat. Thank you.

You're right, having filling, enjoyable meals is the best way to start tackling the tendency to nibble and eat throughout the day.

The best place for ideas and to chat about food choices is the Daily Diary (I think I mentioned it to you elsewhere). You'll find it in Events. We also have plenty of recipes in Topics.

It is a busy place (and not the most logical) so most people struggle at first :) Just keep exploring :)

What about a slow cooker meal. Tin tomatoes, onion, celery, carrot, peppers, handful split red lentils, tin chick peas, small amount veg stock if needed. When all bubbling add, garlic, ginger, hot chilli, jerk spices stir to thicken a little. Keep cooking until spices thicken and carrot cooked. Adjust seasoning and serve with packet wholemeal rice. 4 portions. Dollop of yogurt on top good if chilli a bit hot!
