Hi everyone. How do you handle not going over your calories on birthdays.yesterday was my eldest daughters bday and we had dessert and cookies today is my younger daughters bday. We are having the birthday cake lots of junk food and take away pizza for the party. I've been really good since I started this plan last week.im scared I might over indulge.Esp as it's in the evening at least if it was daytime I could say I'll walk it off. Evenings are alot harder for me to burn off calories. What would you do?
Birthday food: Hi everyone. How do you... - Weight Loss Support
Birthday food
This is a life long journey and holidays and birthday feature. I try to eat sensibly 90% of the time which allows for occasional indulgences. But even then I eat mindfully, and only eat food I REALLY enjoy, so make considered choices. I love pizza, so allow myself 3 slices of my favourite, with salad, and let others eat the rest or box it up and freeze it. The same with birthday cake, as long as we don’t eat cake every day then there is little harm, but I only eat it if it’s delicious. I also try to eat less through the week to allow a little wriggle room at weekends . . .
Have a lovely day and happy BIRTH day momma 😊❤️🍰
If the party is at home put some music on and get the girls dancing with you.
Na ah! Birthdays are my excuse to have a blow out! Doesn't matter if its my birthday or someone else's! Life is not linear and "being good" ALL the time is just too hard and unecessary! If you have a weight loss plan that works for you then enjoy the event and make up for it in the week/s after! Its OK!
