Phew I think my scales have recalibrated!

So for those that haven't seen my previous posts.... I was losing a nice consistent 2lbs a week. At 9st 9lb I was only 3lbs away from my goal weight. Changed the batteries in my scales and Boohoo suddenly they were saying 9st 10lbs on the week I was expecting a 9st 7lbs!

All over the weekend they were stuck on 9st 9lbs. Which was where I was before I changed the batteries! Anyways today I finally got a 9st 7lbs! Whoop! Two days before official weigh day! 3lbs down from last Fridays 9st 10. Which is unlikely so must be something to do with the scales resettling in or something?

Anyways I am thrilled! Tomorrow I am on holiday to Clacton-on-sea and I am not going to be calorie counting! And yes I am going to put weight on and eat lots of super naughty foods! But as much as I look forward to that I also am looking forward to refocusing after my break and finally reaching my 9st.6 goal which will mean I am no longer overweight! Its so close now!!!!

Thank goodness 👍. That must be a relief

Have a lovely holiday, you might surprise yourself and find you get full quickly and can’t eat the way you used to. Either way, have fun 😊🕶☀️🎉

Wow amazing overall loss CrimsonMama how long has it taken? I’m down one with 4.5 stones to go to be in a healthy BMI range- I can’t begin to contemplate the amount as it’s just too much so taking it a few pounds at a time! Well done 🎉🎉🎉

Heya RedUnicorn. I am 1lb away from losing six stone in under ten months. But like you I concentrated on 1 stone at a time. The time has flown and I've gone through so many physical changes that each one has been a celebration so it hasn't felt like it's taken long at all. I enjoyed buying a few new things at size 16, then 12 and now I can buy in the size 8/10 category which is amazing! I'm certain I won't change anymore and am happy with my body now. Although I've had to accept my mummy tummy and little bit of bingo arms. But it is so good to feel "normal" and not obese!

Your journey may be at the beginning but I know you can do it!
