I am new here and have been invited to join the NHS prediabetes prevention plan. I have completed 3 out of the 4 core sessions and whilst it is interesting it is also terrifying. I clearly need to loose weight and reduce my blood pressure. I have my own business and could do with also reducing my stress levels. I would welcome any ideas, support weights to assist in my journey

Well done for taking part in the NHS prevention plan. It is possible to get yourself back to a much healthier position and avoid getting diabetes altogether.
It is terribly difficult to get the work/life balance just right and I think many of us struggle with this. Just remember, we are supposed to work to live, not live to work - see if you can make some small changes or maybe delegate more. To relieve stress, how about doing some yoga or just simply going out for a brisk half hour walk to blow the cobwebs away and refresh the mind.

It is really interesting probably not telling you anything you don’t really know but reiterating how important your health is and how to get the most out of yourself. The group I have joined are lovely, friendly and supportive we are all there for the same reason to live a longer healthier life. It is also a kick up the butt.
