New member here. Turned 60 in January this year and decided I needed to start looking after my self in terms of health. I am a non smoker, don't drink alcohol or eat any kind of meat.
I currently weigh 12 stones 1 Lb (169 Lbs) which I agree is not overweight but I have too much "belly Fat" which i want to get rid off.
Nice to be here!

Hello and welcome to the Weight Loss Forum OurAlfie 😊
As far as I’m aware there isn’t any way of making fat move from a particular part of your body, but there is some evidence that a reduced carbohydrate plan can help visceral and abdominal fat. Have a look at this for more information phcuk.org/wp-content/upload...

My name tells you that we are a similar age! Definitely not too late. My name started me off on the running forums Couch to 5k and Bridge to 10k. I came to the weight loss forum about a year later. There is a weigh in group for each day of the week. I'm part of Monday Mass Movers! Great name, as like you, I would like to move more mass from around my middle. I really like being part of the weigh in group I suppose it is like a free online slimming club. The motivation that I am going to post my weight each Monday is a great help. I think this link will take you there.
